Born in the Maldives, Umar is one of the most-respected and skilled DJ’s in the country. With over 20 years of experience, he is renowned for his ability to immediately understand his audience and play the perfect soundtrack to create a sense of joy on the dance floor.

Umar is considered a pioneer in the industry, having introduced various new styles and genres of music the Maldivian DJ scene, elevating the standard toward an international level. This international expertise led to residences at resorts including Meeru Island Resort, Constance Halaveli, One & Only Reethi Rah and Cheval Blanc Randheli where he has entertained crowds from all over the world and established himself as the leading DJ in the region.

The Maldivian born DJ rose to fame in the early 2000’s, hitting the ground running playing exclusive sets for the most exclusive resorts in the Maldives such as W Maldives, Huvafenfushi Maldives, One&Only Resorts, Six Senses Laamu, Conrad Maldives and to the international clubs to name a few as Zouk (KL), Zion (KL), The Aviary (AU), Pearl NH (UK).

The open format DJ, Turntablist and Producer was drawn to the music scene by his keen interest for Hip Hop and Electronic music since he was a mere teenager. He is widely known to cross over and incorporate a range of musical genres within his sets which makes him a real crowd-pleaser wherever he spins. The seasoned DJ knows the ins ad outs of how to work a crowd from a pub on a Friday night to a beach bar to an extravagant club.

DJ Akram has seamlessly gained recognition as one of the most popular artists amongst resorts such as Kandima Maldives, Meeru Island Resort, Dhigali Maldives within a short period of time.

Farih Riyaz, stage name DJ Elfie embarked on his musical career in 2014 joining the DJ Workshop held by UBER Events & Artists. Taking a keen interest in music from a young age, he is able to play the guitar, saxophone, horns, trumpet, drums and a collection of various other instruments.

He further went onto complete a course in DJing and Music Production in Manchester, UK which has made him one of the most popular DJ’s in the industry. The young DJ has an impressive resume of performance venues under his belt including Sheraton Maldives, Hurawalhi Maldives and Kandima Maldives.

DJ Nastey, better known to the locals as Nasttey, is one of the most talented and trendiest new DJ’s in the Maldives. He has been fortunate enough to have rocked the masses at some of the most major events and venues at the likes of Amilla, Lux, Anantara Dhigu, Finolhu, Club Med Kani and Bandos Maldives.

His ability to experiment with different genres of music always keeps the crowd on their toes!

Ismail Faazil better known as DJ Fcko is a seasoned music enthusiast. Having had worked as a sound technician at UBER Events, Pop Joy and Island Music, he was one of the hopefuls that joined UBER Events & Artist’s DJ Workshop in 2014.

The unparalleled skills he had acquired gained him vast recognition fairly quickly! This has led to residences at resorts such as The Waldorf Astoria, Nautilus Maldives, Kandima Maldives, Amilla Fushi, One & Only Reethi Rah and Oblu by Atmosphere at Helengeli.

With over 12 years of experience on the DJ scene, DJG is one of the most sought-after DJs locally especially favoured amongst the youth. He knows just how to get the crowd going playing the right tunes at the right time!

His career has led him to play New Year’s Eve sets at popular resorts such as Meeru Island Resort, Atmosphere Helengeli and has also secured him weekly gigs at Dhigufaru Island Resort and Veligandu Island Resort.

DJ Thothi is an favourable talent fairly popular with young crowds. He has a vast collection of music and has the ability to combine and change up his sets to suit any variety of crowd. He is hardworking, dedicated and can get the party going in seconds. This keenness has earned him gigs at Velaa Private Island, Amilla Fushi and Niyama Maldives.

DJ Shifan started his career as a DJ in 2006 at a local radio channel, Capital Radio. After completing the Professional DJ course by UBER Events & Artists he played his first gig at Baros Maldives Resort. He has the ability to be dynamic and perform in a way that resonates with the given audience. This has landed him the regular DJ gig at One & Only Reethi Rah for the past 6 years. He has also played gigs at Four Seasons Maldives, Velaa Private Island Resort and alongside the likes of Unoosha and Equatic Vibe.

DJ Shimatte is a talented artist and DJ in the Maldivian music scene. After completing the DJing, Mixing and Audio course by UBER Events and Artists he has taken on multiple gigs including regularly playing sets at Summer Island and W Maldives. He has also completed the Advanced Certification in Sound Engineering from TGC India. His sets are extremely versatile and flexible with the ability to incorporate genres from a wide spectrum. This earned him opportunities to perform at Katti Hivvaru Art & Music Festival and The Blueberry Bison Festival, India.

Talented Maldivian artist, an Open format Dj who achieved his Biggest dream to become a Dj Inspired by Some of the biggest names in the industry, such as Carl Cox, Laidback Luke, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Fatboy Slim and Dj Umar.

As an experienced DJ, he performed at various Luxury Brand resorts in Maldives, such as Four Seasons Resorts, St. Regis Vommuli by Marriott, Joali Maldives, Kandima Maldives and the list goes on, as well as he was holding short term residencies with few Resorts and Capital city Male’ is where he always perform at the Local events and private Parties.

Since 2012, DJ Ampay has been professionally performing at various resorts and venues. He is an open format DJ specialising in Deep House, RnB and Reggae Retro. Throughout his 6 years in the field, he got to perform in some of the renowned resorts in the Maldives such as Kandima Maldives, Waldorf Estoria, The Standard Huravalhi and Meeru Island Resort to name a few.
